Valencia CF's history at San Siro

The Champions League has provided Valencia CF with a visit to the San Siro this Wednesday, a stadium that is the home ground for both Internazionale and AC Milan on a regular basis, but which is also the venue for Atalanta BC's fixtures in the Champions League.
Inaugurated in September of 1926, it is Italy's largest football stadium and has hosted World Cup and European Championship games.
Atalanta's regular ground, the Stadio Atleti Azzurri d'Italia, does not currently meet UEFA standards, and is undergoing renovation work. Whilst the Orobici are still playing their home Serie A matches in Bergamo, their games against Manchester City, Dinamo Zagreb and Shaktar Donetsk have all been played at the Giuseppe Meazza (San Siro's official name).
In 2017/18 they experienced a similar issue, as in the Europa League they would play at Sassuolo's Mapei Stadium, 192km from home.
Valencia CF have played at San Siro on six occasions, but never against Atalanta and never with a victory to take back to Spain.
Their first visit was in 1962 against Internazionale in the Fairs Cup quarter finals (3-3), and their most recent against the same opponents in a 2-2 draw. They also lost the 2001 Champions League final on penalties there against Bayern Munich.
